Very good+ book in very good price clipped dustjacket. Green cloth a little faded around edges and on spine, silver title. Super dustjacket with some foxing and very light chipping to spine tips and corners. Front free endpapers partially browned and very neat gift inscription otherwise fine, clean bright condition, binding tight. 15 Colour plates and black/white text illustrations. Lovely copy of scarce book. A collection of magical fairy-tales, beautifully illustrated - The Little Grey Men, Uncle Hans The nightingale, Up the Glydebrook the wind's tale, the donkey man, the gentleman in the wig, In Saint Leonard's forest, the two professors, Pieree the trapper and the first snow. 7182

1st of this edition, 1969. Near very good book in fair unclipped dust jacket. 126 pages. Small damp stains to top and bottom of front endpaper, endpapers also lightly foxed, rest of pages clean and bright, binding tight, no previous owner's name. Near very good blue cloth on boards with damp stain to bottom edge of back cover. Unclipped dust jacket with loss to spine end and corners, tears and small loss to front and rear turn-ins, tears to front cover repaired (on verso) with brown tape, damp stain and loss to bottom of back cover. Fair only jacket. Lobgob the cleverest gnome builds a steam engine and creates the Forest of Boland Light Railway and so the gnome's daily journey to the gold mines is made much easier. All is well until the villainous leprechaun Shera Beg captures the gnomes' chief, Hal o' the Hobb. This starts a desperate feud between the gnomes and the leprechauns.Illustrated in black and white throughout. 8042

Previous owners name inside upper cover, binding a little pulled at front but still tight, pages clean, nice copy of scarce book.
