Very good book in very good price clipped dust jacket. Lovely copy of this scarce title. Few tiny foxing spots to ffep else contents fine, no previous ownership marks. The dust jacket is in remarkable condition with minimal scuffing to top of spine. 6th impression. Superb black and white illustrations. The 'Wandering Wind' was a familiar sight up and down the canal, and when Bill Badger decided to start sightseeing tours; he and Izzybizzy soon had plenty of passengers. One day the oddest collection of muffled-up figures stepped aboard and that was the beginning of a terrible adventure for Bill and his crew, an adventure that began just as their barge entered a long, dark tunnel ..... 9864

Book and unclipped dust jacket in superb condition. Lovely copy of this scarce title. Originally published as Bill Badger's finest hour this a 1st thus, 1983. Contents bright and clean, no previous ownership marks. The dust jacket is in remarkable unclipped condition, without wear, small stains to corners of back panel (these are on the verso of the jacket and only noticeable when jacket removed from book). Superb black and white illustrations. Bill Badger and Izzybizzy the hedgehog decide to take a holiday on their famous narrow-boat, the Wandering Wind. They set off to see the spectacular Plynnlynn Aqueduct which carries the canal high across a valley in the Welsh mountains. Nobody expected any more trouble from Big Ginger and his gang of robber cats. But somehow these villains seem to have survived the explosion ..... 9865

Very good book in near very good dustjacket. Helda the little goosegirl upsets the Wizard and he decides to cast a spell on her. Alas! All the workable spells require dragon's blood, which is not so easy to come by..... Unclipped dust jacket has light wear and small loss to corners and spine ends, few grubby marks. Previous owners name inside upper cover, binding a little pulled at front but still tight, pages clean, nice copy of scarce book. Colour frontis, full page and in-text illustrations in black and white by D J Watkins Pitchford. 7858
