Very pretty paper coverd picture boards (hard cover) - front cover illustration by Eileen A Soper, plain grey back board, buff coloured cloth spine. Board edges rubbed with some loss of surface paper to corners and edges, spine unevenly faded, name and address on backboard. 10 x 7.5". Undated but prize plate awarded to 'Alan for attendance at Tugkingmill Sunday School' dated December 1946. Four colour plates, one by Peter Fraser, one by Eileen Soper and two by Peggy Rushton also black and white illustrations by Ben Somers, Eileen Soper, Gregor Ian Smith, Marsh Lambert and others. Cracking between pages, binding slack, foxing on most pages, the odd margin tear else good. No colouring. Scarce. First story - Dimpsie the untidy other stories include - little white bear and the elf king's palace. 11191
