Tunnicliffe Very good book in very good unclipped (9s net) dust jacket. 1st edition, 1949. 12 black and white illustrations and dust jacket design by C. F. Tunnicliffe. Paper just a little age darkened, no previous ownership marks, binding tight, nice copy. Small tear to top of jacket spine else very good. 'It is not a big estuary but to the Big Spit (locally known as the Gob) came wild geese in their thousands, now there are fewer, but the wild life of the estuary is still sufficiently varied to make this detailed description of it one of Mr Vesey-FitzGerald's most fascinating books.
