Picture boards (hard cover) rubbed on edges, bumped and rubbed on spine ends and corners, slight loss of surface paper to (blue) back board - just on one corner. 8.5 x 6" with 96 pages. Four colour plates and numerous in text illustrations in black and white. Illustrators include May Smith, Marjorie Slade, Cicely Englefield, L Rowles, Topham and others. Stories and poems including - two bad boys, we thought we met a fairy, the puppy who went running round, Easter, how jolly for Anne, the dinner fairies and Joan visits a farm. Various authors including Margaret Forbes, Agnes Grozier Herbertson and Evelyn Maud Whitaker. Some fingering to margins, no previous owners name, three lines of text on the first page have been scribbled over with a black pencil, the text is readable but it looks very untidy, else very good. 9169
