As every child knows Birthdays are very important, so it is not surprising that Miss Flora McFlimsey ran away from the doll's house when she thought her birthday had been forgotten. She flew to Puffin Island with Tuffy Puffin and had a wonderful time for a while, but soon she began to wonder what was happening at home... Very good book in fair dust jacket. 6.5 x 5.5" with 36 pages. First UK edition 1961, originally published in the US in 1954. Very good picture boards (hard back) a little rubbed and bumped on edges, inside very clean, no previous ownership marks, two tiny corner turns else very good. The unclipped (3s 6d Net) dust jacket is worn on edges with small loss to corners, 1" tear to front turn-in fold, other small edge tears and chips, small loss to tail of spine, 1" loss with tears and creasing to top of spine.
