Super postcard of Dismal Desmond no 5727 published by Valentines. Caption on front "I won't be happy till you write me!" Dismal Desmond. Posted to a Miss P Talbot in April 1928 with a short message - Thank you for the very nice pictures. You are quite clever aren't you? much love from Daddy. Dismal Desmond's tongue is painted pink and his bow is blue - would think this was probably added by a child as there is a spot of pink on Desmond's toe. Very scarce card in nice condition with just a little wear. 11100
