First edition. Near very good book in fair dust jacket. Music by Ida Sargent (Auntie Idy of the B.B.C). Scarce in this edition with music. Large format 11" x 9" 95 pages. 4 beautiful colour plates by Margaret Tarrant and additional black/white illustrations by Dorothy Newsome. No previous ownership marks, endpapers browned, foxing on prelims and very light general foxing throughout, binding tight. Dust jacket is very worn with large pieces missing from spine ends plus other tears and small loss, also grubby. Poems and music including - Ker-licker-lee-um, cherry-stones, the postman calls me Tuppenny, the boot-mender and four little knobs on my bedposts.
